Кіберфахівці Служби безпеки України викрили та припинили діяльність столичного інтернет-промоутера, який для штучного привернення уваги до власних ресурсів в інтернеті поширював фейковий контент про COVID-19.
Співробітники спецслужби встановили, що популяризувати сайти та сторінки в інтернет мешканцю Києва запропонували російські рекламники, у яких він дистанційно навчався на платних онлайн-курсах фахівців SMM. Чоловік завів власний телеграм-канал та організовував тематичні групи у популярних месенджерах.
Затриманий розповів, що здебільшого поширював інтернет-контент, який йому надавали російські «вчителі». Вся інформація була спрямована на створення штучної паніки, або містила заклики до порушення карантину.
Виконуючи рекомендації своїх російських наставників, чоловік через власні інтернет-ресурси, орієнтовані на аудиторію столичного регіону, транслював фейки про перебіг пандемії в Україні, у тому числі з посиланням на неперевірені та російські джерела. Зафіксовано, що виконання ним цих вказівок створювало передумови до спричинення паніки, дискредитації дій влади та дестабілізації суспільно-політичної обстановки.
Фахівці Служби з питань протидії інформаційним загрозам наголошують, що російські спецслужби через власну агентуру можуть використовувати громадян України «в темну», зокрема, шляхом маніпулювання та залучення несвідомих Інтернет-користувачів до поширення фейкового контенту та провокативних меседжів. У деяких випадках це несвідоме «співробітництво» закінчується «вербувальним підходом» та державною зрадою.
Наразі, викритий громадянин повністю визнав свою провину, надав доступ до своїх акаунтів та спільнот, активно співпрацює з правоохоронцями.
