Президент Петр Порошенко заявил, что России и Газпрому не удалось спровоцировать дестабилизацию ситуации в энергетической сфере, а Украина продемонстрировала всему миру свою надежность как партнера и транзитера газа в Европейский Союз.
«Времена газового шантажа Российской Федерацией нашего с вами государства уже в прошлом. Никто Украину на колени не поставит», — заявил Петр Порошенко во время совещания в «Укртрансгазе».
«Очень надеялись руские, Украина начнет отбор газа из транзита. Не дождутся. Украина — надежный транзитер, надежное государство, надежный партнер. Мы сообщили всем нашим партнерам в Европейском Союзе. Они были готовы и хорошо проинформированы, чтобы не поддаться на провокации Российской Федерации. И реакция Европейской Комиссии, отдельных стран ЕС четко свидетельствует о поддержке Украины», — отметил глава государства.
«Мы в полном объеме обеспечили транзит газа в страны Европейского Союза», — подчеркнул Порошенко, и отметил: «И еще одно свидетельство России — как ненадежного поставщика. Зачем строить «Турецкий поток», «Северный поток — 2», когда в любое время, без какого-либо предупреждения можно перекрывать поставки газа всем Европейскому Союзу с целью обеспечения политического давления». «Эти инструменты больше не работают. Украина — выстоит, Европейский Союз — выстоит. Потому что мы уже другие», — подчеркнул Петр Порошенко.
