На Донбассе Россия активно использует священников Украинской православной церкви Московского Патриархата в деятельности, направленной против Украины.
В течение четырех лет войны в Донбассе религиозные и культовые сооружения используются спецслужбами РФ для ведения разведывательной операции, а представители духовенства УПЦ МП участвуют в террористической деятельности и поддерживают боевиков. Об этом во время круглого стола «Агрессия РФ против Украины: исторические параллели и современное измерение» в Покровске Донецкой области рассказали представители СБУ.
Представители Службы безопасности привели примеры того, что епископы УПЦ Московского Патриархата на Донбассе добровольно становятся служителями кремлевского режима. Так, в 2014 году в Донецкой области монахи Свято-Успенской Святогорской лавры разместили на обратной стороне иконы Божьей матери новую молитву пророссийского содержания и раздавали ее на пасхальные праздники.
Также в 2014-м Игорь Гиркин, один из лидеров так называемой «ДНР», вместе с другими боевиками получил убежище в одной из церквей УПЦ МП Славянска, в ней террорист создал свой батальон и освятил оружие. «Фактически храмы УПЦ МП стали очагами, на которые опирались все в своей деятельности против Украины», – подчеркнули в СБУ.
Сейчас СБУ проводит расследование деятельности УПЦ Московского Патриархата по всей территории Украины.
«Расследование проводится путем научных экспертиз, выявление документов, свидетельства людей, которые видели или были участниками мероприятий, которые осуществляла УПЦ МП. Осуществляется опрос свидетелей и сбор доказательств, исследуется церковная литература на предмет наличия манипулятивных текстов ».
Юлия подчеркнула, что вторжению России в Крым и на Донбасс предшествовал большой период латентной агрессии и распространение манипулятивной технологии именно в церковной сфере.
