Ультиматум для УПЦ МП.
После получения томоса в Украине будет единая поместная Украинская автокефальная православная церковь, а нынешняя УПЦ МП должна перерегистрироваться в украинский экзархат Русской православной церкви.
Об этом заявил Святейший Патриарх Киевский и всей Руси-Украины Филарет во время встречи с украинской общиной в Посольстве Украины в Бельгии.
“Либо вы присоединяетесь к канонической Украинской православной церкви, а если не хотите – силой никто не будет принуждать. Но вы уже не будете иметь права (в отношении УПЦ МП – ред.) называться Украинской православной церковью. Они будут иметь право называться украинским экзархатом Русской православной церкви в Украине!”
По процедуре после создания поместной Украинской автокефальной православной церкви предстоит перерегистрация уставов всех православных приходов.
Патриарх Филарет выразил уверенность, что большинство украинских православных приходов зарегистрируются за Украинской церковью.
При этом он подчеркнул, что все церкви в Украине будут иметь равные права, как это было и есть сейчас:
“Часть Русской церкви останется в Украине. Но влияния она не будет иметь на украинское общество. И все будут знать, что это русская церковь, и относиться к ней как к русской церкви”.
Патриарх отметил, что Украинская автокефальная православная церковь будет в мире второй по численности прихожан после российской, но по активности верующих, религиозности есть и будет самой большой.
“В Украине продолжается духовное возрождение”, – убежден Патриарх Филарет.
