Польша намерена не предоставлять международную защиту семье беженцев из Украины, члены которой голосовали за отсоединение Донбасса от состава Украины.
«Над нашим домом летали бомбы», – рассказывают переселенцы. Наталья и Андрей Шокотовы, а также их двое детей переехали в Польшу еще в июне 2015 года, поскольку в регионе началась война.
И хотя семья уже два года пытается устроиться в Польше, власти страны не намерены предоставить им статус беженцев и хотят депортировать их из страны. Главной причиной тому является факт голосования Шокотовых на референдуме за отделение Донбасса от Украины.
Польское Управление по вопросам иностранцев признало «недопустимым» заявление о предоставлении международной защиты для семьи из четырех человек.
«Обучение детей в польской школе, их интеграция с польской культурой и средой не могут быть основанием для легализации пребывания их родителей», – подчеркнули в управлении.
